Kelly Osbourne Helps Sharon Find a Reason to Smile on Their First Wedding Anniversary Without Ozzy

What could have been one of the hardest days of Sharon Osbourne’s life turned into an evening filled with laughter, friendship and cherished memories—thanks to her daughter Kelly.

Exactly one year after the heartbreaking loss of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly and Sharon stepped out together for Evgeny Lebedev’s extravagant summer clown-themed party, where they were joined by supermodel Kate Moss and a host of celebrity friends.

The gathering came on an especially emotional date. July 4 would have marked Sharon and Ozzy’s wedding anniversary, the first since the Black Sabbath icon passed away at the age of 76, just weeks after his unforgettable farewell performance in Birmingham.

Despite the sadness surrounding the milestone, Kelly made sure her mother wasn’t alone.

Photos shared on Instagram showed Kelly looking elegant in a fitted black dress while Sharon radiated confidence in a white jacket paired with a flowing pink skirt. The mother and daughter were all smiles as they laughed with Kate Moss and posed for photos throughout the evening.

Kelly later revealed just how meaningful the celebration had been.

“I don’t even know where to begin in thanking Evgeny Lebedev for throwing such an incredible summer clown-themed party,” she wrote.

She explained that being surrounded by close friends helped transform what could have been an overwhelmingly painful anniversary into a night they will always treasure.

“It was the perfect night and made what could have been such a hard day for my mum one we will both never forget. I don’t think we have laughed like that in quite some time.”

But Kelly’s tribute to her parents didn’t end there.

Earlier in the day, she visited Ozzy’s final resting place, laying flowers beside his grave on the family’s Buckinghamshire estate before sharing an emotional open letter to Sharon.

Addressing her mother as “My Dearest Mummy,” Kelly reflected on the first wedding anniversary Sharon has faced without the love of her life.

She acknowledged the heartbreak of a day that was once filled with celebration but now carries profound loss, while reminding Sharon that love never truly disappears.

“Daddy may no longer walk beside you, but he will never stop walking with you,” Kelly wrote.

She praised Sharon’s incredible resilience throughout the past year, saying Ozzy would be immensely proud of how she has continued moving forward while keeping his memory alive.

Kelly also thanked Sharon for being a devoted grandmother to her three-year-old son Sidney, saying Ozzy’s greatest legacy wasn’t simply his legendary music career—it was the family he built and the love he shared.

She promised Sharon that none of them would face the difficult milestones ahead alone.

“As you walk through every first, every anniversary, every birthday, every Christmas and every milestone that now feels different without Daddy, please never forget that you do not walk them alone.”

The touching message ended with a heartfelt reminder that even death cannot erase a lifetime of love.

“Happy Anniversary to a love story that even heaven could never end.”

Sharon also paid tribute to her late husband by posting a simple but deeply emotional photograph of their hands together.

“Today would have been our wedding anniversary,” she wrote. “Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart.”

Fans flooded both women with messages of support, praising Kelly’s moving words and applauding the close bond that has helped the Osbourne family navigate an incredibly difficult year.

The past twelve months have been especially challenging for Kelly. Alongside grieving the loss of her father, she also ended her engagement to Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson earlier this year and previously revealed that grief had affected both her health and appetite.

Following criticism of her appearance after collecting Ozzy’s posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at the BRIT Awards, Kelly spoke out against online trolls, saying she was enduring the hardest period of her life and should never have had to defend herself while grieving.

Yet through heartbreak, Kelly’s latest tribute shows one thing remains unchanged: the extraordinary love that continues to hold the Osbourne family together, even after Ozzy’s passing.
