Whitney Fransway suggested that Lindsay Hubbard was lying when she claimed at the reunion that she cried for “six months” because of what Whitney said about her on In the City. The star also addressed whether West Wilson should join the show amid his controversial romance with Amanda Batula, and she shared who has changed the most since filming.
On a cast trip, Whitney’s boyfriend, Kenny Martin, suggested that Yvonne and Nick should choose which room they want first, given that they were newlyweds. But Lindsay and her friend Georgina said they were taking the primary because they’re mothers. Later on, Whitney insinuated that Lindsay and Georgina were using the “single mom card.”
In a reunion trailer, Lindsay claimed she cried for “six months” because of what Whitney said on the show. Whitney responded by saying she already “apologized for it.”
On Morally Corrupt, Whitney was asked if she believes Lindsay’s claim that she “cried for six months.”
“No,” said Whitney. “I felt clearly that was not my intent for that to go down that road. … Even in the scene where she and Yvonne are making up on that last episode or second-to-last episode, you see Lindsay be like, ‘Oh, well, the way that you talk to me…’ She kind of feels like she deserves an apology. I’m like, wait, what?”
“It was just things like that that I had seen, and I finally decided to stand up for what I felt was right. I knew it wasn’t going to be an agreed-upon position, but I still stand by what my intent was,” she said. “But I regret how it landed.”
At one point, Whitney shared that she hopes she and Lindsay can eventually find common ground, as she doesn’t like to be on “bad terms with people.”
As for whether she thinks West should join In the City, Whitney said it’s not “just a party show,” and you have to be “open and honest” about “every aspect of your life,” and she questioned if West can do that.
According to Whitney, Georgina has changed the most since filming.
